Applications are closed for 2025.
Applications for 2026 open mid-February 2026 and will close July 1, 2026. Anyone may apply to ODC shows; however, artists must be members of Ohio Designer Craftsmen to participate in Columbus Winterfair. Annual membership is $35 for an individual, $45 for a joint membership, and may be paid after acceptance, along with the booth fee.

Columbus Winterfair is 49 years old and still going strong. This show is supported by a loyal, craft-buying audience of over 16,000, and draws patrons from Cleveland to Indianapolis. A favorite among artists as well as patrons, Columbus Winterfair has consistently appeared in the top 10 on Sunshine Artist’s ranking of the top 100 craft shows.

SET UP
Set-up time: Thursday, December 4, 2025, 9:00 am–8:00 pm. Downloadable pdf of set up and parking coming soon.
Thursday set-up is advised for ALL exhibitors. Welcome packets will be dropped off in your booth before you arrive, so need to check in at the Info Booth.
Exhibitors are advised to bring their own dollies for unloading, as none are available.
The overhead garage door in the Wine Café area WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE for load in or load out this year.
The entire Paddock area on the South side of the Bricker Building WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE this year to load in or out due to construction. Please park in the Sheep Barn and dolly your setup through the overhead garage door located on the North wall. The East doors will be open for load in and load out.
Vehicles are NOT allowed on the exhibition floor.
Exhibitors who must arrive on Friday morning must make arrangements in advance. Set-up resumes at 7:30 am on Friday and must be completed by 9:30 am. Those arriving after 8:30 am on Friday will NOT be permitted to set up until Saturday.
Fire Regulations: The Safety Inspector for the State of Ohio will be on site. USE ONLY HEAVY-DUTY EXTENSION CORDS AND GROUNDED POWER STRIPS. Due to fire regulations, please keep all displays within the 10’ deep booth space—THIS INCLUDES EXHIBITORS’ CHAIRS.

WiFi: $25.00 per day. Search for the “Mobile Midway” wireless network on your phone or computer. Secure access is available using the encryption code “ohioexpo.” You will be given the option to sign up for a WiFi pass or log in for up to 15 minutes per day for free. Questions: Call NetSteady at 614-345-5000.
FAQS
Please be in your booth at least 15 minutes before opening. The facility will be locked for the night at 9:00 pm on Friday and Saturday. We will have security in the building from 6:00 pm Thursday through 7:00 pm Sunday. You must be wearing your official Winterfair badge to gain access to the building.
Booth Sign: Please display the booth sign from your exhibitor welcome packet in your booth. This sign must be clearly visible so customers can find you.
Storage: Shared and behind curtained areas on west and east sides of building. If in doubt, please ask at the Information Booth. Do not put inventory in front of any fire extinguishers!
Smoking and Alcoholic Beverages: Alcoholic beverages of any kind are prohibited in your booth. Smoking is not allowed in the building. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE DOORS PROPPED OPEN.
Change: Available at the Ticket Sales Window at the main entrance during the last half hour of the show on Friday and Saturday nights. No change given on Sunday morning.
Ohio Sales Tax: 8%. You are required to have an active or transient vendor’s license for Franklin County.
Booth Sitting: Sign up early each day at the Information Booth for breaks of up to 15 minutes. We will do everything we can to honor your request. Volunteers will be walking through the show with “Artist Break” signs should you need an unscheduled break. Please understand that they may be on their way to another artist but will get back to you.
Awards: There are six awards, including: Awards for Excellence and Best Booth Design. An independent juror will select all awards. Award winners receive an invitation to next year’s show, bypassing jury review.

Artist Surveys: An artist survey from Sunshine Artist magazine will be included in your exhibitor packet. In addition, we will email our own surveys for you to complete after the show. We always appreciate your feedback!
Tear-down instructions are in your welcome packet. The building closes at 9:00 pm on Sunday night. Please let us know if you cannot be packed up and moved out by that time.

Important Winterfair Artists Parking Information
You’ll find the Bricker Building at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, just north of downtown on 17th Avenue off I-71.
Once you arrive at the Ohio Expo Center’s Bricker Building, signs and parking attendants will direct guests to the proper parking areas.
